Green Machine Smoothie


This smoothie is hands down my all-time favorite. I’ve given the recipe to friends and family over the years and they all love how simple, tasty and healthy it is- win/win! I don’t really believe in suuuper long blog posts for recipes. Isn’t that kinda annoying? Just give me the dang recipe already, people! I know there’s a reason for it…it’s so you scroll through all of their ads 🤦🏼‍♀️ nothx! Without further adieu, here’s the smoothie recipe that’s bound not to disappoint. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t taste green.

Green Machine Smoothie

Makes 1 smoothie. For more servings, multiply accordingly.

*to be extra good to your body, choose organic ingredients!

  • Heaping handful of fresh spinach

  • 1 frozen ripe banana

  • Heaping handful of frozen mangos

  • 3/4 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I like Garden of Life Organic Vanilla Protein Powder)

  • Approx. 8 oz unsweetened almond milk (I like this one from Califia, sold at Target, Whole Foods, etc.)


Toss it all in a blender in the order listed above and enjoy! If it’s not blending well, add a bit more almond milk.

Pour into a mason jar for looks and pop a metal straw in it to save our planet. I like these wide stainless steel straws from Amazon.

BONUS: for extra fiber add a tablespoon of ground flax seed and a touch more almond milk 😋
